APPEAL OF ADMISSION DECISIONS Policy Code: 4140
An applicant for admission to the school district will be notified in writing of the decision of the superintendent or his or her designee. Decisions regarding discretionary admissions for the following year may be delayed until the board has determined whether space is available in the school.
A final decision regarding admission or release may be appealed to the board of education. An appeal to the board of education must be received in writing no later than five working days following receipt of the decision of the superintendent. The board will make a written determination within 30 days of receiving the request.
